This time of year the headlines are all around us, newspapers, magazines, the Internet, all talking of "New Year, New You" "Get your best bikini body" "Dry January" and on it goes, things we need to change, stop, start, give up, the New Year Resolutions we are pressured to make, when we don't really want to, knowing we have little chance of sticking to them.
The festive season brings pressures of it's own. The pressure for things to be perfect, the pressure to have the best celebration ever, look your best, produce the best meal/party. Having to spend long periods of time with partners and family.
This can all take it's toll leaving you feeling depressed/lonely/inadequate, then suddenly it's a new year and we all have to resolve to change something and throw ourselves into the challenge with gusto relishing every moment.
Has the festive season left you feeling exhausted, or down, perhaps unhappy with the way your life is at the moment? If this is the case for you then Cognitive Hypnotherapy could be just what you need to help change things. Perhaps you've made a resolution but aren't sure where to start.
If it's something you want to stop then we can look at what keeps you doing whatever it is, address that and and replace the thought patterns supporting the habit/behaviour with more helpful one's designed to move you away from what you are doing and towards something better for you.
Perhaps some reflection over the holidays has left you with a desire to start something new, a goal you want to achieve, well Cognitive Hypnotherapy can help there too. I can teach you about goal setting, how to pick the right goal for you, how to monitor your progress keeping yourself on track.
If you have something holding you back then we can work together to remove the obstacle enabling you to move forward. So whichever way it is for you, January Blues or raring to make a fresh start there's something Cognitive Hypnotherapy can do to help you.
